Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold at the team events along with the floor exercises. In the balance beam Raisman received a bronze. This made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The gold medal was hers for team at the 2016 Olympics that made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to have back-to-back golds. She also won silvers in the individual all around event and for floor work. The break was for three years between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics in the age of 2 and her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly is a supporter for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who died from cancer. She plans to pursue an occupation as a designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark line of leotards. Fierce is a novel she's currently working on is due out at the end of this year.
